Thanet Athletics Club

George Pittock is the youngest member of the club and was the first to compete for the club when he took part in the first Deal Tri Junior 1500m race of the season on Friday 28 May.  The series of four races takes place on the last Friday of the month alongside the Fowlmead 5k series.  George finished 11th in an impressive time of 7:18.

Adult members David Debling and Phil Pittock took part in the 5k race later the same evening, finishing 20th and 28th in 22:16 and 24:07 respectively.
