Thanet Athletics Club

Club members Georgina and Tamara Anderson have been selected to represent Thanet at the Kent School Games.  Georgina (right below) will compete in the 200m and high jump, and Tamara will compete in the 800m and long jump and both girls will be part of the 4 x 100m relay team.

Georgina won the 200m and high jump at the qualifying event held at The Marlowe Academy recently, Tamara won the 800m and the long jump and the girls were part of King Ethelbert School’s winning 4 x 100m team.

We wish both girls every success and we are confident that they will bring home the first of many medals.
