Thanet Athletics Club

Thanet Athletics Club is sponsoring the Thanet Secondary Schools Athletics Championships at The Marlowe Academy at 4.00pm on Thursday 24^th June.  The event is hosted and organized by James Bridge and Carrie James of The Marlowe Academy and the club will supply the medals and trophies and volunteers on the day.

All 10 secondary schools will be represented and boys and girls in the U13 and U15 age groups will compete in the 100m, 200m, 300m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 4 x 100m, high jump, long jump, triple jump, discus, javelin and shot putt events.

“We are delighted to support what promises to be a fantastic afternoon of track and field athletics” said Phil Pittock, Chairman of Thanet Athletics Club.
