Thanet Athletics Club will host its first open track and field meeting from 11.00 am to 3.00pm on Saturday 4th September at The Marlowe Academy.
Field events will include long jump, high jump, pole vault, shot putt, hammer and javelin; with a range of sprint, hurdles and middle distance races on the track.

James Mileham threw a massive 32.28m to win the U13/U15 javelin competition at the Invicta East Kent AC open meeting on Tuesday 17 August. James’ throw earned him the highest Grade 1 national standard and he is currently ranked 27th in the UK for U13 javelin.
