How to Join

We have a Club Induction session for all new members in order to introduce all potential athletes to club and track etiquette, as well as enabling coaches to work with much smaller groups of athletes to teach basic technical skills which ensures transition into the main training groups is smoother for both them and our current athletes.  It also gives potential athletes the opportunity to discover whether they want to continue to train with the club.

Athletes in school Years 3  to  7 attend the Junior Induction which aims to ensure members have basic running, jumping and throwing skills, and reflects the training sessions which follow a multi-event approach.

Athletes in Year 8 and above complete the induction and train with event coaches depending on their personal preferences. Our current event groups include the following: multi-events, sprints, hurdles, middle distance, jump and throws.

All new athletes are required to complete a four week induction before they are able to join the training sessions.  For full information on our induction process click here.
