Four Thanet AC athletes started their outdoor season early this week attending the Ashford Leisure Trust open on Wednesday 6th April. Danny Campion produced personal bests in the 100m and 200m. Lewis Parsons also managed a personal best in the 200m and was 0.07s off his PB in the 100.
Tom Hughes also competed in the 100m and both he and Oliver Cooper competing in the 100m and 200m were just outside their personal bests but showed promise for better thing later in the season.
A number of athletes are in action over the weekend at the Lee Valley and Medway and Maidstone opens - we wish them all luck!
