As an RAF Reservist and father of a former 3 PWRR soldier (now training as a Royal Marine), Julien understands first-hand the value and opportunities that Reserve service offers.
The visit also opened the door to future collaboration, with exciting plans for stronger ties between 3 PWRR and Thanet Athletics Club already underway.
"It's a real privilege to sign the Armed Forces Covenant on behalf of Thanet Athletics Club. We already have members of the armed forces both serving & reservists, veterans and their families as part of the club and would welcome more. We are building a strong para-athlete group so would welcome those with disabilities to the club. Thanet AC - be the best you can be."
